8/17/13 Team WOD

I love team WODs! It means you get a guaranteed rest at some point (9 times out of 10) and you have a cheerleader for the whole workout. This time it was:

Tag Team Triple:

In teams of 3 perform:

63-45-27

Thrusters (95/ 65#) <– Rx

Burpees <– Rx

I did this with 2 friends and we did 5 thrusters before rotating and 10 burpees before rotating. It ended up being approximately 21-15-9 reps per person. I felt like we did well yet we finished in 16min. I think if we want to be faster we should’ve just worked until we needed a rest instead of allocating a rep scheme since rotating took up time. At least in the first round. But oh well it was still good 🙂

After class we discussed pressing up into a handstand vs kicking up into a handstand. I can almost press up into a headstand but not handstand.
