9/13/13 WOD

Friday the 13th is usually bad luck and a terrible day but for me it was freakin awesome! The weather was perfect, I took 1/2 day from work and got my hair done, Nick was home, and I kicked butt during CrossFit.

I took the 5pm class since I was in the area around that time and the WOD was:

AMRAP 15
10 Power Cleans (110#)
30 Double Unders

I thought we had done a similar WOD a few months ago but for only 3 rounds and I remembered it being tough. At first I wasn’t sure if I should Rx it but after warming up at 95# and feeling good I slapped on more weight and actually had 112#. I ended up getting exactly 6 rounds! I felt awesome!

After class we did EMOM 4 of sots press. Oy what a tough move that is! I did 2 presses each round with a 15# bar. I think it’s minimally getting better but has a long way to go!
