3/8/14 14.2 Open WOD

Another week – another WOD down! I wasn’t exactly sure how I was going to do in this WOD since my chest to bar pull ups aren’t very fast and my overhead squats are ok but not my forte.

Workout 14.2

Every 3 minutes for as long as possible complete:

From 0:00-3:00

2 rounds of:

10 overhead squats (95/ 65#)
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups

From 3:00-6:00

2 rounds of:

12 overhead squats
12 chest-to-bar pull-ups

From 6:00-9:00

2 rounds of:

14 overhead squats
14 chest-to-bar pull-ups

Etc., following same pattern until you fail to complete both rounds

My goal was to get through round 1 (sets of 10 reps) and then just get as much as I could in the second set of 12s. I managed to meet my goal of completing the first round with about 15 seconds to spare (you had to wait until the 3 min were up before going to the next round). Then I got through 12 OHS, 12 C2Bs, and 8 OHS! 72 reps!!!

I am so pleased with my score! I’m ready for 14.3!!
