It’s been a bit on the rainy side in MD this week. The dogs aren’t fans of it and I’m not a huge fan of non-stop rain, either. But it does make going out to the gym essential since all I want to do on rainy days is sleep and eat.
Unfortunately last night’s WOD programmed running and by the time I got to the gym it was raining. I was not running. I’m a princess and I don’t want to get wet intentionally. If it didn’t start raining until after we started I would’ve sucked it up but I was not going to willingly go out and get cold and wet.
3 rounds / 7 Minute cap per round
With a clock set at 21 minutes perform:
Run 800m <– Single Unders
Max Rep Power Clean (165/ 105) <– Rx
~ then at 7 minutes
Max Rep Pull-Ups <– Rx
~ then at 14 minutes
Max Rep Handstand Push-Up <– 1 ab mat
Insteadn of running I did 4min of Single Unders so I could practice for the Hopper Clash AND stay dry. Each round came to about 435 singles. So approximately 100 singles per minute. In the 3min remaining per round I got: 20 cleans, 30 pull ups, and 7 HSPU.
In the WOD I had HSPU and Cleans which are part of my supplementals so I didn’t really work on anything before or after class.
