6/10/14 MOD WOD

I was SO excited to do last night’s WOD when I first got the schedule for the week. Short running and deadlifts as heavy as I wanted?! YES!!!!!! And then I forgot this is my taper week. No Deadlifts for You! 😦 I was pretty sad but I still got to workout. Instead of deadlifts I did power cleans and worked on about 80% of my current max which came to 117# (I did 115# though just because I was a little lazy).

AMRAP-10

200 m Run
3 Deadlift <– Power Cleans @ 115#

I still worked hard. Maybe slightly harder than people doing deadlifts??? Not sure. I got  6 + ~180m run. The average for the day was 7 rounds so I did OK. Darn running. Darn humidity 😉 I’m full of excuses today.

The rest of the week will be resting. By tomorrow I’ll likely be bouncing off of the walls with boredom and energy. Thankfully I have plans tonight and tomorrow to help with the potential crazy boredom.
