Diane. My most favorite benchmark WOD yet still my nemesis in many ways. I have HSPU but not 45 in a WOD still. So I’m still constantly battling Diane one baby step at a time.
Last time I did Diane I did 1/2 of the reps HSPU, the rest strict push up with 2 ab mats. Took me 7:59 to complete.
Last night my coach said to replicate the efforts I did last time and if I got under 5 min to then make the scale harder. Well. I forgot I had done 2 ab mats last time and only pulled 1 ab mat from the shelf. Suddenly I was confused as to how I finished so quickly until afterwards when I pulled my phone up and saw I had used 2. Oh well.

I was still very proud of myself and my efforts with only 1 abmat and 24 HSPU in a WOD! I finished in 9:12. Next time I will do the same MOD and hopefully crush my time! 🙂 I’m still considering it a PR, though.
